Hotkeys, suggested by DH reader Ganesh of BR Hills, can help people who keep forgetting hotkey assignments. This open source utility is a not only a first rate hotkey utility it also has this neat feature: when you hold down the Windows key for three seconds it displays an image of the keyboard showing all the hotkeys that have been assigned. Startup Delayer
Many Windows programs try to start when the computer starts to boot up. When all these programs try to start at the same time this causes a great delay to get going. If you're bothered by this delay, you could try Startup Delayer- which starts along with the boot and lets you choose the time when you want them to start their work after the boot.
